the storage capacity of double deep rackings is 75% to 99% higher than that of ordinary beam-type rackings, but there are also some shortcomings in double deep rackings. when accessing the rear cargo, the front row corresponding goods must be removed or displaced before the access operation can be performed. double depth rackings cannot realize fifo access model. in order to improve the utilization rate of the warehouse, it is generally considered to use the rear racking after inventory, and then consider using the front racking. usually, in order to facilitate the access of goods in the double depth beam racking, we will install two forklift rails on each pallet position to guide the entry of the forks.
the main features of the double depth racking:
1. the height of the beam is low, and the working height in the flat warehouse can reach about 8 meters.
2. medium inventory turnover rate, providing 50% optionality.
3. applicable to warehouses with low pick-up rate, the ground utilization rate can reach 42%.
4. the double depth racking structure is simple, the utilization rate is high, and the storage capacity of the goods is large.
5. the inventory is twice as high as that of ordinary beam-type rackings, which can effectively alleviate storage pressure.
6. a special forklift truck is required for work.
7. the width of the forklift channel needs to be around 3.3 meters.
8. the number of channels is reduced, the number of rackings is increased, and the storage capacity of goods is double that of ordinary beam rackings.
9. the high-position library uses a special forward-loading stacker (some called a three-way forklift) for work, and the stacker fork generally uses a 5-stage fork.
10. after the goods are advanced, only the corresponding goods in the front row can be removed or displaced before the operation can be carried out. the rackings are difficult to be first-in, first-out. in order to improve the utilization rate of the warehouse, the general inventory should be considered first. rear racking, rear storage front racking.
11. when picking up the goods, try to take the goods in the front and the back at one time. if they can not be taken in one time, it may affect the warehouse utilization or access efficiency.
12. each location construction cost is the lowest cost one of all three-dimensional warehouse systems.
